Dan is knee deep in hot garbage this week as all of us sit back and try to understand half of what he's saying. WTF Vatican Miracle Worker?! Su has to explain so much Symphogear backstory to get you to one of the dumbest plot points. It's always a party when Symphogear is involved. Also, yes, I am aware that it's actually Season 2 wherein Hibiki almost crystal-dies. My bad!!! I need to get my S2 and S3 plots straight!
Welcome to the Ballroom is confused as to what it wants to be, but Su's gonna stick with it because it's got the Sports show fomula down pat.
Scott finally sees some conflict happen in his dog-gone-earnest show. He can enjoy that conflict with his food from ANOTHER WORLD!
Brendan teaches us all a little something about snake people from Antactica, and struggles to pick his favorite couple on Tsuzudere Children. Ahh...young romance....

This podcast was recorded the week of 8/20 so I swear the Solar Eclipse reference made sense at the time!
Dan has quit Princess Principal, but honestly, are we at all surprised? He's just mad he can't throw a car with gravity powers. At least he'll always have non-Turkish Pasha guy! Scott's livin up the earnest life with mecha building and staring at delicious food. What a life he leads....
Su desperatly wants you all to watch Symphogear. Seriously..do it! It's so ridiculous. She also wants you to watch Welcome to the Ballroom but isn't...100% convinced it knows what it's doing. Also, Su totally realized that the guy's name is Gaju, not Garu. Don't flame too hard!

The Con Artists actually finish out Winter 2017. It's the bonus episode, Episode 06: "Encore, Encore: Laser Buildings"
We warned you that there would be a bonus episode and here it is!! Brendan is back from Japan so he talks all about his shows! Scott discusses the finale to Gundam, Iron Blooded Orphans and Konosuba (Join the Cult, Join it!!!). Su gets to talk about the end of Kuzu no Honkai where some people finally talk it out. Dan wants you to watch Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu so he talks about Season 2. You should definitely watch Season 1!!
